I'm a single mother, a disabled Veteran and the care taker of my cats. I love animals and the outdoors and was studying to be a wildlife biologist when I was forced to drop out of school due to severe asthma caused by chmical burns during desert storm. I still like to camp but no longer can hike up into the mountains to do it , still it is nice to visit the parks around here in the mountains.

If your medical debt is in a civilian facility, you can contact the hospital's social worker/patient advocate and request debt reduction or forgiveness based on income. See additional info on links below. Or if the VA is now admiting to condition being service connected, can they be held responsible for medical debt because you were refused medically necesary treatment thru the VA healthcare system?

I would start with Senator Clinton's office, then The NYS VA offices, then why not the STATE Atty general? Call or write them all. Let them know they are NOT doing their job. You served your country and now you are disabled because of it.
